Maybe you don't understand the picture that well.
Actually I find, that people just recognise the Egyptian gods and nothing else.

Let me explain..

According to my funtheory the religion ends when it's heaven (or hell) is stuffed. You know. When you have a lot of people dying believing in you, you have to make some space for them after death. And. you see there is a lot of gods (christian, muslim, buddhist theory of reincarnation, taoism and so on) and when you reach your limits of greatest imagination of allowed population, you realise, that you can't take it anymore. Sou you will let the remaining people die and reach their heaven and then you will try to make sure, that nobody on believes in you, because it would only cause you troubles with accomodation
